Chemical Peels
(Part 2 of 4)

For more rapid results to fade sun-damage, smooth uneven texture and soften fines lines and wrinkles, a chemical peel may be the choice for you. Light or superficial peels using a glycolic or salicylic solution can be done on your lunch hour with essentially no down time. The peel solution is applied to a clean dry face, without burning or stinging, and the solution self neutralizes. Mild flaking can be seen by the second day and may last for 2-3 days before it reveals softer, smoother more glowing skin. Salicylic or glycolic peels can be done as frequently as every 2 weeks to reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, pore size, redness, hyperpigmentation and acne blemishes.

Chemical peels can benefit all skin types. Though results can often be appreciated after a single peel, a series of 4-6 peels offers more comprehensive treatment.
