One year after performing our first regenerative stem cell joint injections, we are finally launching our new website for Cell Surgical Network of Florida. Our center is a research affiliate of Cell Surgical Network, founded by Dr. Elliot Lander and Dr. Mark Berman of Los Angeles. We use adipose (fat) derived stem cells for deployment and clinical research. Early stem cell research has traditionally been associated with the controversial use of embryonic stem cells. The new focus is on non-embryonic adult mesenchymal stem cells which are found in a persons own fat, blood and bone marrow. Recent technological advances enable us to use adipose derived stem cells not only in plastic surgery but for various diseases. Autologous stem cells from a person’s own fat are easy to harvest safely under local anesthesia and are abundant in quantities up to 2500 times more than those in bone marrow.

Although I have decades of experience with fat grafts, only recently were we able to convert processed fat into a clear infra-natant pellet with millions of stem cells. This giant leap forward now allows our center to provide patients with more predictable results not only with plastic surgery procedures but for patients suffering from arthritis and other diseases. I am also proud to announce the affiliation of Dr. David Heekin, Dr. Orlando Florete and Dr. Alexander Fokin (MD, PhD) into our center.

CSN of Florida is an affiliate of our parent organization Cell Surgical Network based out of Los Angeles, California. This week, our 42 international affiliates meet in Los Angeles where I will be sharing my results with my CSN colleagues.
