DR. LEWIS OBI LECTURES AT CELL SURGICAL NETWORK ANNUAL MEETING IN BEVERLY HILLS

Dr. Lewis Obi, and his CSN of Florida partners, returned Sunday from CSN’s annual symposium which was held at the Beverly Hilton. More than 25 members and invited speakers presented their work in regenerative medicine. The faculty included almost every major specialty in medicine.
Dr. Obi’s presentation was a review of his use of stem cells in plastic surgery during the past four years. His presentation concluded with a glimpse of the future utilizing 3D imaging and printing of tissues with stem cells and biologic scaffolds. The recent invention developed by Dr. Lee of South Korea which expands and stores stem cells will facilitate Dr. Obi’s area of interest. The current system used by Dr. Obi employs equipment and disposables that are manufactured by Dr. Lee’s company, Medikan International Inc, of South Korea.
Dr. Lewis Obi, Dr. David Heekin, Dr. Orlando Florete and Dr. Mark Homra are currently very active with stem cell/PRP treatments at the Obi Plastic Surgery Clinic.
